Bart Freebairn is a Toowoomba-born, Melbourne-based comedian and podcaster.
He is the co-host of Something for the Drive Home, a lo-fi weekly comedy podcast, alongside Nick Cody.
Bart is best known for his bizarre style of humour, his high-pitched delivery and randomised phrases such as "gravy ninja," "robot legs" and "fanty owl."
Bart performed a show at the 2012 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, entitled Underground Awesome Quest. He also did a show situated entirely within a blanket fort for the 2012 Melbourne Fringe Festival.
To date, Freebairn has been on The Little Dum Dum Club seven times. Bart first appeared on The Little Dum Dum Club on Episode 22, which was posted on March 29th, 2011. He returned as a guest alongside Ben Lomas on Episode 63, which was posted on December 14th, 2011. After setting what Tommy Dassalo described as the "land speed record" for swearing in Episode 22, Freebairn was unusually quiet and restrained in Episode 63. Thankfully, he returned to his usual self on his third appearance alongside Greg Fleet on the show's 87th episode. Most recently, Freebairn returned alongside David Quirk for the show's 109th episode. During a live show for the 2013 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Freebairn appeared at a live show with Sam Simmons and James Adomian in character as Javier Bardem. Later in 2013, Freebairn teamed up with Cody for a cross-over episode of the podcast; the 155th overall. His most recent appearance came during a live show for the 2014 MICF with Ian Bagg and Xavier Michelides.
